RACES
Welcome to the racial category area, where you'll choose the primary category for your character! Immerse yourself in a realm of boundless possibilities and creativity as you explore the expansive race categories. Before diving into character creation, it's imperative to read the rules carefully for a seamless process. As you embark on your roleplay journey, embrace realism; remember, your character isn't flawless, and imperfections pave the way for an enthralling narrative of development and enjoyment.

Consider your character's age, background, and personality. How would they behave at different life stages? Whether aligning with typical elderly traits or deviating due to lore, express these nuances in your roleplay. If your character is aged 150 years or more, authentically reflect their age. Unaging beings or long-lived beings may experience time uniquely, moving at their own pace. Choose an age that allows you to fully immerse yourself and relish the richness of your roleplay experience.

Hybrids are allowed, and while creating your character's powers and weaknesses beyond the Boons and Banes of the application is up to you, it adds another layer to your roleplaying experience. In certain races, like vampires, diverse lore elements exist; some may burn from the sun, while others can walk freely. Perhaps your character even sparkles! Embrace the freedom to shape your character's unique abilities and vulnerabilities, enriching the collaborative storytelling universe.

As you craft your character, take a moment to consider their background story. While essential, the crucial aspect lies in what you plan to do with your character moving forward. It serves as a foundation, shaping your character's motivations, goals, and interactions within the dynamic world of our roleplay. Your character's journey is an ever-evolving narrative, and the choices you make will weave their tale into the intricate fabric of our shared storytelling experience.

When emoting in roleplay, it's essential to use the /me command. This helps distinguish your character's actions from regular text, adding clarity to the narrative. For instance, instead of typing Bob nods , you can use /me nods in agreement , providing a more immersive experience. When your character speaks, enclose their dialogue in double quotes (""). This helps differentiate spoken words from narrative actions, contributing to a clearer and more engaging roleplay. For example, /me raises an eyebrow, "Is that so?" she asks, her voice filled with curiosity. This combination of /me and quotes enhances the overall quality of your roleplay interactions.
On land, there are many hidden areas that are themed; however, all races/characters are allowed to roleplay, hang out, and travel to any location. Keep in mind that some in an area may be more protective, but there are no one-race-only areas.
