CHANGING

The Changing are creatures with the ability to assume up to three different forms, most often but not exclusively taking on animal shapes. Examples include Lycanthropes, Shapeshifters, Kitsune, Chimeras, etc.

 BASE WEAKNESS

• Nature - Being intimately connected to another form brings these creatures even closer to the instincts of that form. While a blessing, it can also pose a curse—imagine a werecat stumbling upon a garden of catnip or a wolf discovering peanut butter. They might find themselves playfully rolling around with it on their face before realizing what occurred. Although endearing, this behavior could leave them vulnerable, potentially leading to impulsive and irrational decisions

 

• Sensitive Senses - Sensitive Senses - Whether it be heightened sight, taste, smell, or sound, these beings excel. They can also be devastatingly affected if something is extremely bright, like a flashbang, strong and pungent in taste or odor, or even loud, like a shotgun. These stimuli may result in disorientation, temporary blindness, deafness, or vomiting.

 

• Silver  - Much like an extreme allergy, silver is very unkind to Shifter types and will often cause burns upon their flesh as well as extreme pain. However, beware—Shifters being stabbed, shot through the heart or head, or even injected with silver could potentially kill them."
